The Bee started life as a GY9 dark gold met 383-auto Super Bee.
It has been completely disassambled, media blasted and painted inside and out. Everything has been replaced, repainted
or restored. The right quarter, left fender and left door has been replaced. The engine is a non-matching 1971 383
magnum that has been completely rebuilt, including bored .030. balanced, professional valve job with hardened seats and
new springs, and has all new components. The transmission is a rebuilt 23 spline with Brewers Performance parts and a
McCloud street clutch and a rebuilt pistol grip with an original handle. The rear end is an 8 3/4 with a 3.23 sure-grip
with new bearings and seals. Everything in the brakes has been replaced or resurfaced (11" drums, manual). The radiator
was re-cored and all hoses are new, driveshaft was rebuilt and balanced, and the suspension has been completely rebuilt
and detailed. The exhaust is all new with 2 1/2" aluminized pipe and iron tough mufflers. It has an excellent rumble.
It is undercoated and looks better than new on the underside. The interior is all new with mostly Legendary components
and has a factory AM/FM radio. It has new Centerlines and BFG's. It has a First Place Go Wing with the correct decklid
and mounting hardware. Everything works great (even the key buzzer) and drives excellent.
No stone was left unturned on this car. It has the original fender tag but no build sheet and a clear title in my name.
It's a consistent trophy winner and needs nothing. It is ready for car shows and cruising.
